WRAP AROUND SERVICES AND PREVENTION

Planted Seed Ministries Inc., provides a continuum of culturally competent services and resources to meet basic human needs, provide protection, support community integration, and transitioning out of poverty.

What We Offer

Planted Seed Ministries Inc., strives to help men who have been diagnosed with a mental health and substance abuse disorder and maybe homeless, transition from incarceration back into society in Northwest Indiana.


Most of our clients are in a pretrial program , on probation or parole,  and have violated their court agreement due to substance abuse, untreated mental illness or homelessness.  If you have questions about our services, please reach out to us.

Referrals for Housing and Services

Most  “Eden House” participants at the time of applying are in the process of being placed in a pretrial program, specialty court participant or a probation or parole violator due to mental illness, substance abuse or homelessness. Most are supervised by the court and or probation/parole for the first 60 days or more. We also take  referrals from inpatient treatment facilities and other community providers based on bed availability.  


Plea agreements are also welcomed as well as local  PAARI ( The Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative) referrals. 

Referrals will be accepted by:

  • Probation and Parole Officers
  • Court Staff 
  • Attorneys 
  • Electronic court monitoring agencies 
  • Community providers 
  • Prison and jail staff  
  • Inpatient Treatment Facilities 
  • PAARI
  • Community Corrections 
  • Friends and family of applicant
